Hello chaps, i ave been away from the boards for some time, due to being heavily involved with the above campaign [ great campaign Vincent we are all really enjoying it] :D

My party are about to enter the Druids grove and bargain with the Lord of the worms. The text reads that the demon demands a gift of fate [which is no problem], or a soul, or pact.
I am hoping that the sorcerer in the group will go for the pact
My questions are
Can the demon use his magic in or outside the grove?
What would it take for the demon to escape the grove?
How would the demon benefit from having the sorcerer in a pact with it?
Basically I am looking for ideas on adding flavour to the scene, I am not too sure about what the rules for demonic pact are as I am at work and to be honest I will just wing it to create tension and drama.
Any ideas and help always appreciated :D

1. Outside the grove maybe only under the earth (and not in stone, it has to be humid soil where worms exist).

2. A ritual in the grove with a lot of sacrifices (maybe of half-worms similar to the swamp-things from AtTR), when a certain constellation of stars appear. A high level being to serve as host (= your sorcerer?).

3. Getting freed eventually.

If you have Ancient Kingdoms: Mesopotamia: there is a side plot with a worm that has come from outer space. Maybe you can use it in some way...
