Following are all 'canon' characters who might be of use in character creation colour for a Judge awarded a full eagle in 2131. Some start and graduation dates are speculative.
My initial playing session will be entirely done as character creation but interspersing with odd incidents to get players used to equipment and game mechanics before they hit the scenarios proper in the following game session. Can try dig out prog references in a later post if anyone needs them.
Principal Wallis Presumably the Head of the Academy during 2131 and earlier.
Tutor Ocks Huge ex-Street Judge teaching weapon and unarmed combat skills. Has a propsthetic arm. Veteran of Dredd's hand picked team that took out a Sov silo and nuked MC1 in 2104. He later lost the use of an arm in a mission to clear up a post war shanty town and retired to teach. KIA on a secret mission 2126.
Judge Kruger Powerful Judge who was the champion daystick fighter from 2120 to 2123. Under suspension for a period in 2123 whilst a perps death was investigated. Whilst the incident was investigated he was assigned to the Academy to teach day-stick combat. A lecture was interrupted by Dredd and the two ( who evidently had some dispute between themselves ) demonstrated the use of a daystick. A brutal fight left Kruger unconcious and Dredd hurt ( Dredd might well have lost the bout but for Kruger's arrogance in choosing to fight bareheaded against Dredd ). This might be the first time the PC cadets see Dredd.
Cadet Dolman ( Fargo clone and a loner ) inducted 2116 Performance falls off from 2122. Leaves Academy 2126 aged 15.
Cadet Dredd Transfers from Texas City 2113 approx. Graduates 2122 aged 16 and adopting the name Rico.
Cadet America BeenyInducted 2119 aged five. Graduates 2130 aged 15 years. An orphan to millionaire entertainer Beeny .
Cadet March ( Clone of Judge Sinfield ) Presumably five in 2116.
Failed to be awarded full eagle when judged by Judge Rico in 2131.
Cadet Giant (ii)Graduates in 2116 aged 15.
Cadet Daniel Falcone Inducted 2123. ( supposedly aged five in one strip and nine in a later one, though twelve works better. Later stories threw up a continuity issue unless he's time stretchered. ) An orphan. Problems with discipline and celebacy. Expelled May 2130 and returned to sector 13.
