A silly question

Please forgive me but Im very new to the system used in Conan:RPG, having only a dim memory of D&D Ed. 2 from many years ago. As Im reading through the Conan rules Ive found several comments on skills in the class and race desriptions which read "This is an extraordinary skill".

When I first read this I was inclined to just agree, as in "Why yes, I suppose it is". But after the 3rd or 4th time I saw it I began to realize this is a category of some sort, this "extraordinary" means something.

Can anyone clue me in as to what it is refering to? :wink:

I'm not sure if there is an explantion in the Conan rulebook for it. The SRD is a good source for the rules that aren't in the Conan books as some seemed to have been missed a bit.

LOL... too bad we're limited to Extraordinary, Supernatural and Spell-like Abilities, isn't it?

Imagine something like "This is a Frickin' Amazing ability" or "This is a Pretty Crappy ability"... :wink:
