A question about "paired attack"

Could you explain exactly as it is used? If the first attack impacts the following gains half the creature's normal chance, or just the next?
For example, hyena: Paired attack (bite to crush). Bite 55%
First attack (bite) 55%, next crush 83, next crush 83...?
Or is this only possible if this is specified in any way? For exemple Nakasa. Its paired attack says "Bite to Bite and so on".
Could you give me examples, please?

1st Bite: 55%
Paired Crush: 83%

Nakasa:
1st Bite: 65%
Paired Bite: 98%
Next Paired Bite: 98% and so on.

Slime Snake (has Paired Attack Bite to Constrict):
Normal Constrict: 55%
1st Bite: 70%
Paired Constrict: 83%

Does that better illustrate it?
