Now that I calmed down, I am leaning towards the Americans or European. Not sure about the first relases for Europe being the Brits (no offence lads), but I do need two factions to start with.

I believe that they are being considered. The initial release is going to focus on the USMC with the basic infantry squad, plus command and Force Recon squads and sniper and Stinger teams.

You might also want to check out the latest issue of Signs and Portents for preview info on all four of the initial factions, plus a playtest battle report.

I think there are like 3 types of American forces released: marines, army and something else. I think...

Just the marines for the time being. Presumably any US army or SEAL forces will be seperate armies later down the line.

I'd imagine they'd be part of a larger force like the different MI platoon types for Starship Troopers.

yeah possibly, though the marines are getting integral ground and air vehicle support.

I'll be going for Europeans and Chinese to begin with. The US models look very cool though.

Chinese and US for me. I'd rather wait to have more Europe models come out and have a mixed force.

I'll probably go with the Marines to start and then move into some European stuff. The models look fantastic and hopefully the ones that we actually buy will look as good, unlike the DDM from Wizards that look nothing like the masters that they preview.

Yeah, I thinking MEA and EFTF (especially if they do an Irish detachment) for myself.

No reason you can't have the British fight every other army in Europe

I'll be going MEA and Swedish (converted USMC infantry)!

As for the SEALS, I'd guess they'd be few and powerful, but I'm sticking to MEA and Swedes.

No reason you can't have the British fight every other army in Europe

Well, no matter if they'll loose time and time again. I'll go with 'em! The Swedes first of course :twisted:

It should be pointed out that this may be a factor of the player, rather than the army. . .
