Or two.
Love the game and Bounties and Warrants is a great resource. BUT...

.... Like many refs, I'm time poor and don't have time to do extensive fleshing-out/ adventure writing.

Anything in the pipeline?
I'm thinking of an episodic series of linked scenes with a story arc...or something... :)

Hi MP ... just a quick query ... I'm in the process of finishing of a short scenario for your Strontium Dog RPG and woundered if u guys offer a proofing/publishing service of any kind?

As our club play so many RPG & Wargames, my scenario's usually last a days gameplay, so it's not a major storyline or anything, but I would love to get it (and most likely others!) published, even if via PDF format,

Any advice appreciated ... Walts (aka Balrog)

Yes they do, Flaming Cobra:

Flaming Cobra is a new imprint by Mongoose Publishing, designed to bring the very best of PDF and 'Indy' RPG publishers to a wider market in your local games stores and book shops.

We have combed the world to find these indy publishers and design studios and are confident that our partners are second to none. Already you will find Crafty Games has joined Flaming Cobra, bringing Spycraft with them, to stand alongside other titles such as Dragon Warriors, and the Gentleman's edition of Baron Munchausen.

Another possibility would be a Signs & Portents submission:

Hi Hirch ... Thanks for the offer! I'm actually going to run the module on the 3rd Oct at our local gamesclub in Irvine ...

North Ayrshire Wargames Club

Here's the module intro ...

It's a Dogs Life!

As this will be my first run on SD & MGT, I've tweaked odd rules to suit how I like to play, so I'll see how things go in general. If I was to be honest, I'm worried the players will do their usual charge in with blades (usual oD&D stuff!) and get wasted at the first encounter with heavy blaster fire! We can only hope they'll use their heads! Walts.

Only just saw this, sorry, will download and read now.
Have you run it yet?

Hi HD ... yeah, the players managed to get through the bounty run ... a "little bit" burned! ... but it was a definite learning curve for us all. As I'm the only one who read (has!) the SD & MGT rulebooks, I had to promote them on various "do's & don'ts" that SD agents would do, where to maybe look for some clues, when to use skills, etc, etc, etc!

BUT, I was lucky that all the players where familiar with the 2000AD SD storylines anyway and this helped them through the whole game. They did however miss a couple of minor storylines which cost them 150k credits, but I'll be making up some data sheets for the next game to point them in the right direction ... watch this space for the storyline! Walts.
