With all the undead AD&D created there is almost no monster which can surprise me anymore (did you never have a touch at "Return to the Tombs of Horror? - With some modifications it could provide for a great Delecti campaign).

He's not supposed to be horrific in the sense of "horror" and undead. He's supposed to be Ingenuity In Wartime Gone Wrong For Unknown Reasons. You'll like him when you read him. He's nice. He's cuddly.
 
Whoa..........that is wicked cool. I was on the fence about buying the Clanking City since I don't run Glorantha, but it that is impressive.
