2nd Edition White Star & White Star 2

Having read the 2nd Edition Fleet Book, May I suggest that the stats for the White Star and the White Star 2 are the wrong way round.

The description of the White Star 2 says:

"allows the White Star to conduct stealthy reconnaissance"

but it is the White Star that has the Scout trait!

Also, neither of the White Star's have the Stealth trait, so why mention stealthy reconnaissance?

I guess the emphasis is on the "reconnaissance" part. "Stealthy" can also mean keeping out of sight/scanner range of the enemy and get the hell out when the data has been collected; it doesn´t have to imply stealth...

In the series, it is Lennier who uses a Nial to get closer to the Centauri border than would normally be possible. He uses a stealthy Nial to do this. Which is probably the reason for the WSII fluff - it is actually the ship that we see do it.

Ivanova's White Star is the scouty one, and that gets spotted and rammed by the Shadow Scout easily!

Great - Love the fluff, but should the WS2 have the Scout trait.

If it doesn't then, why would anyone want to take the WS2?

It's slower than the WS1, lacks the Scout ability and they're both the same PL!

Okay, Okay - So apart from Aquaducts, Underfloor Heating, Wine and Sewers - What has the Roman Empire really done for us? :)

Okay - Apart from aquaducts, underfloor heating, wine, sewers, basis of language and a legal system - What has the Roman Empire done for us - Nothing!!
