2e request -> some love for the Hyach

I don't know if this has been mentioned in a post about 2e yet so I post this to the powers-that-be who are working on the 2e game. Could you please add the Hyach to the League forces?

They are one of the most iconic members of the League. They seem appear in the show more than any other League race except the Drazi and the Brakiri yet their ships are completely left out of the game except for fan-created material. Heck, the Pak'ma'ra have been added of all races. As a fan of the game, I ask you to please give the Hyach a little 2e love (and a few ships) so they can give the League forces more spinal laser (oops, I mean "spine").

The Hyach are certainly on the cards, but they will not be appearing this year.

Well we did actually see some Pak'ma'ra ships in the series (admittedly they are actually Drazi ships...) whilst we never saw a Hyach ship...

And as I remember the Hyach were actually only identified in one episode even if they appeared in many others...

Not yet done;

Markab (who then went extinct)
Hyach (but really briefly)

A lot of them, you might have seen in the council chambers, etc, but never had speaking parts.

On the other hand, I'm all in favor of new League forces- it allows Mongoose to play with new ship ideas and play a bit with the B5 universe, exploring some new ideas for the ACTA rulesset.

Errrm,

I am a bigger fan of the league fleets than almost anyone in my game circle and I would really rather see the existing league fleets brought up to scale than a new addition.

The risk with adding more league races is creating a sort of 'hyper-conglomerate' fleet for those who use the league as a whole which is too good but leaves the league races as pretty poor individual choices.

I know the league were not big galactic power blocks in the series unless taken as a whole but I think ACTA needs to spilt them down and pump them up a bit.

Well the League is already split. It is just the 'pumping up' that they get in 2e, ie more ships, new cool stuff and so more viability as solo races.

At the risk of seeming more than faintly ridiculous:

I can see a group of Drazi players wearing t-shirts with the slogan "Fire Raptor: Pimp my Ride" on them blockading the Mongoose offices just prior to 2e. Then obviously a fight would break out between those wearing the green version and those wearing the purple version.

None that I am aware of. You see them a lot but you never see their ships.

The show was actually kinda odd with regard to the League. You really only saw Drazi, Brakiri and Vree ships appear much in the show.

Oddly however, the races that appeared most often in person were the Drazi, the Hyach, the Gaim, the Pak'ma'ra and the Llort. You rarely physically saw a Vree, an Abbai or any of the others.

Not in the show, but here is an image of the cover for B5 Wars Variants Book 5. The ships on the cover are all Hyach ships. I had a bigger version of it, but I seem to have lost it.
