2300AD: Missing Nations of Earth?

The text on p.15 states there are 127 nations on Earth. The Nations of Earth list has only 113 entities not counting the Scandinavian Union entry. Later in the text the Scandinavian Union states it is composed of five nations. These are not on the list: Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden

The text concerning the British Commonwealth lists these nations not on the list: Barbados, Bermuda, Jamaica, Uganda.

Vanuatu is listed on p.10 as a small island nation and again on p,29. It is not on the list

The map of Earth on p.18 lists Greenland and Siberia. Siberia was in the last version.

113+5+4+1+2 = 125

Who are the remaining 2 nations of Earth?
Vatican City? (Hey, allows for the use of the Size 0 entry for the UNP :lol: )

I would think that many of the micro-nations would get quickly gobbled up by its larger neighbors during the chaos of Twilight. Honestly, I haven't read over the core world nations list too closely yet as I'm still going to use the Twilight:2000 game as background material. Perhaps some of those Indian Ocean nations aren't listed? Or maybe Cape Verde got left off?

Given the sourcebook's frank admission of a warmer world, would nations like Vanuatu even exist? No wonder the Earth Firsters are peeved. Guess that's what the mer- augment is for :lol:

Or maybe they are intentionally left blank so you can include little nations as needed for your campaign?
