What is the difference between these two volumes? Other than helping with Mongoose payroll, is there a good reason to own both?

Field Catalogue contains a lot of optional rules for fighting (recoil, quickdraw, penetration, concepts and special circumstances). There are also rules to create your own guns.
Central Supply Catalogue is a catalogue of a lot of goodies (weapons, armours, augments, computers, medicals etc).
