Evil classes to counter the released supplements makes sense, good call. I'm thinking the Mystics set, with the Guild Assassin and the Renegade Noble added, might be a good counter to Stornlands I... The Masked Apostate should be easy to do, and lovely to implement in-game *evil grin*
After the release of the Drakkarim Compendium, I find myself slightly adrift on which characters to finish next. See the lists below:
Drakkarim Compendium: (done)
- Rekenarim Scout of the Hammerlands (LW 10)
- Drakkarim Assault Trooper (LW 10/12)
- Zukanozod Lancer of Blackshroud (LW 10/15)...
Even if the players do not use them, they will make good NPC's - as per Ghuntar's suggestion.
The Drakkarim classes also become useful when you are looking for 'nemesis' units to counter other 'Good' classes:
Dark Disciple of Torgar => Vakeros Warrior-Mage, Brotherhood Mage
Drakkarim Assault...
I like it - but half the abilities are basically from the Kai Lord class... Remember that the Eruan Pathfinders, as per Lone Wolf's adventures in book 10, seem to be equal parts spy and ranger. How about toning down on the Kai skills, and adding more appropriate spycraft abilities instead?
As promised, a collection of the seven Drakkarim classes I have done to date. Feel free to comment and give feedback.
Classes included:
- Dark Disciple of Torgar
- Drakkarim Assault Trooper
- Drakkarim Slaver of Ogia
- Hammerlandese Rekenarim
- Kogadez Medic of Zaldir
- Kondulaga Archer of...
Not to jump the gun, but I am in the process of finalizing a PDF document with seven - 7 - Drakkarim classes in it, which I will then release on the Project Aon board, as well as this one. You should have your Evil classes soon enough ;)
What do you have in mind for the Eruan Pathfinder? I was looking at something similar a while ago, but the Border Ranger already covers most abilities you would expect a ranger to have (in my opinion).
Necro post!
So if you have both 'Might of Bor' and 'Dual Wield', you can make 2x attacks per round, each dealing 2x damage? That is pretty... over-powering, no?
Couple the END of each weapon with a Hardness - HRD - factor:
- each weapon starts with a current and max END score
- each weapon has a HRD rating
- if player wielding weapon takes damage in single round from single attack exceeding HRD rating of weapon, weapon loses END equal to difference...
Like the second version better. Just a note:
- "To find a Noodnic Scavenger`s Endurance, pick a number from the random number table and add 10. However, Noodnics have a great resilience towards diseases, and may add 10 to resist all such rolls."
- Survival Instinct
Noodnics are adept at...
Agreed - but it should be more of an in-born ability than a Discipline that needs to be studied. If a Noodnic does not have 'Sneakin', he will be just as visible as a Sommlending Knight...
