    Paranoia old vs new.

I really don't think a "monster combat system" is necessary. Your house rules are a better idea than some published system because they're yours and you'll know them well enough to run them well. Why memorize charts that someone else wrote, when it's easier to remember ideas you've designed on...

Maybe he wasn't really that curious. :P That being said, thanks for the link, I'm out of beer and in need of something new to read.

Treason Free Speech Limiter (Now Available!)

You click the words and make sentences. The program speaks the words as you click them. Every word is a button with a sound file attached. You click each word and form sentences with them. Basically, a troubleshooter who is equipped with this item can only talk with this control panel which...

    Paranoia old vs new.

My group is comprised of three types of gamers when it comes to Paranoia. Noobs - They've barely played DnD let alone graduated to other games. Veterans - We've been gaming for far longer than we can remember. Paranoid Veterans - These guys have played a lot of old school Paranoia. The one...

Treason Free Speech Limiter (Now Available!)

I would like to apologize to and thank everyone who has tried unsuccessfully to download this. I had the money for a project I was working on which would easily provide the bandwidth necessary for hosting this. Sadly I decided that food was more important. Here's hoping these direct links at...

Treason Free Speech Limiter (Now Available!)

Okay, bear with me I'm just learning flash. I've published it as a Mac projector and I've uploaded it to the website now. Someone with a Mac please let me know if that takes care of the problem. I've also added a link that will launch the program within your browser. Any feedback is more...

    So sell me Paranoia...

If run right, and things were kept intense, it might play to a good GMs favor. All that brooding, and second guessing yourself plays well into the game if the player is paranoid that his action may not work in his favor. I guess this might be helped by keeping things as near death as possible...

Treason Free Speech Limiter (Now Available!)

Any particular way to fix that, I'm not at all familiiar with Macs. Perhaps putting it up as a regular Flash file? Let me know.

Here's a working link. Turns out geocities doesn't like .RAR files. However .ZIP files are cool. Free geocities has a pretty weak hourly download limit but I think this will do for those people who want a copy. Enjoy! http://www.geocities.com/selfindulgencestudios

It seems every time I log off of my briefcase the link to the file changes. Hence the difficulty. Anyhoo, yeah I switched it to a .zip file. I really don't know why I went with .rar in the first place other than I'm just used to it.

That would be completely fine. It's not all that big really. I just .rar filed it because I've got a little notepad with some basic info. It's weird that it didn't work because I tested it out. Hm.

Well, one dead fridge and a lot of ruined food have put on hold my hopes of picking up some sweet webspace and starting my own little site for hosting things such as this.

    Perfect Gift

Not a problem, the creator's of Godlike have a book called Wild Talents in the works which will deal with everything after WW2. It's cool there's a whole progression going on in the world of Godlike. During WW2 supers are rather new and not so powerful, but as time progresses, the powers grow...

    Perfect Gift

Ah yes, well these games now joined with Paranoia form the holy trinity of my gaming obsession. :D Godlike - Superhero Roleplaying in World War 2. Very tight and interesting system in which one roll determines the outcome of every player's action in and out of combat. This like Paranoia is...

    Perfect Gift

Yeah, I did mean to include a serious answer in there, I replied upon waking up from a nap and as such missed where I'd forgotten to. I say be covert, run the person through a Paranoia game and see. My group would love getting the corebook for this or another RPG since I'm the one who tends to...
