    2300AD, thoughts and wishes

This file is back up. I forgot I didn't move it over to my new site. It took a bit of searching, but Warp 2010 has moved to https://github.com/maxlambertini/Warp2010 . The code is there and there are Windows binaries from two years ago.

Valen & The Boys from the Dwarf

For me at least, a few months would be but the briefest of time considering all of the other projects I have. I look forward to reading it and trying it out when you are able to write it. Thanks so much.

Valen & The Boys from the Dwarf

Kickaha, wow! Great work. Please, please, please post how you built the Valen. I, and likely others, would love to build one of our own.

    Does anyone still play?

A small group (part of a larger miniatures group) of us play during the weekend about a once every one or two months at the Hobby Bunker in Malden, MA. I have put some AARs of a few of the games up at http://www.whenimaginationfails.org/. I am about two behind. We have gotten a bit more...

    2300AD, thoughts and wishes

The MacOS version doesn't seem to have the files you mentioned, Colin. So my guess is that the 100 ly version I found, and the 50 ly version I created and linked to previously are probably like the versions you had. There weren't many dwarf stars in the 50 ly version from what I could tell...

    2300AD, thoughts and wishes

For those interested, you can find the stars in a box of 200 ly (100 ly each way) around earth at...

    2300AD, thoughts and wishes

Right, but Colin stated that if you add in the new stars found since the Gliese 1969 star catalog came out (generally small ones it would appear from his comment), then the arms disappear since there are enough small stars that connect the arms. My suggestion would be to then to either: 1...

    2300AD, thoughts and wishes

Two possibilities may be to either lower the stutterwarp max range or say that stars below a certain size won't discharge the engines, so trips to such stars are one way voyages, or require multi-staged stutterwarp engines and so are not economical.

    2300AD, thoughts and wishes

Thanks for taking this up again, Colin. 2320AD was a good followup to 2300AD. I am glad that you and Mongoose are working to bring 2300AD back. The one thing I hope you will do is update the star chart to the latest available and instead of using a sphere of stars 50 light years around the...

Thanks. Since I don't have much time, I tend to use washes when I can. The Shadow-based ships lend themselves to the technique.

Here are a pair of PsiCorp Shadow Hunters I recently finished: I pretty much used the same technique as I have with other Shadow-like ships: 1. Spray prime with black; 2. Paint with several coats of Floquil NATO Black; 3. Apply a wash of silver multiple times. I cannot list the...

    Space Minis

Ravenstar's Cold Navy line of miniatures are very well designed and look very cool. I would be painting them now if I didn't have so many B5 ships in the queue. However, doubtless a few will slip through to the front. Unfortunately his site isn't yet up, but you can email him to order...
