    Wargamers - Uber Table Survey

Yes. I would definitely want to buy it. Price? Not sure, but I haven't been put off by Mongoose pricing so far. I'd be more interested in buying the hills/rocks than the buildings/boxes, and would be happpiest if they were available seperately.

And a damn fine Women's Volleyball Team.

    Starship Troopers Evolution

Wow. Now that is interesting. I know this isn't the time or the place, but when it is, I would be very, very interested in finding out more about the process and its potential. The market just for pre-painted French Napoleonic battallions alone would be huge. Add one more generation of...

    Starship Troopers Evolution

Heck no. I don't want a fight and I suspect if there was one I'd be on your side. I am a big fan of the world economy. I live in New Zealand and last month was briefed on an ad campaign by an agency in Kuala Lumpar for their Mumbai office which was pitching for the DeutcheBank account... How...

SOLD. I want one. At least one. Two if you do a desert world and a jungle world pack. Speaking of jungle-world, assuming it is earth-type jungle, I would be using that with my 28mm pirates too. And there's a break-out product that would sell like hot-cakes in today's market. Pre-painted pirate...

    Starship Troopers Evolution

Ah. I was actually just curious as to whether there was an exciting new technology out there. I have no objection to creating honest paying jobs in low-wage countries, and use a Sri Lankan painting service myself quite regulary. I do paint my own stuff for fun (masochistic fun perhaps?) but...

    Starship Troopers Evolution

The pre-painted stuff does look good. I'll almsot certainly be buying. I'l ask my big question again though. Is this a new-fangled, high-tech method of painting minis? Or is this done by humans in low-wage economies?

    Starship Troopers Evolution

Now this is interesting and genuinely innovative. I have never played the game (no opponents) and have never been quite sure why I've bought and painted so much of it. I can easily field 3000 pts of painted MI and 2500 of Bugs. I guess I just like the Warrior bug models a lot. Given that, the...

Klendathu Invasion Roster: 6000pts worth of MI goodness!

Sorry, I mean the bug side. Do they get a new 6000 pt army each battle? Four different set armies? Something else?

A new 6000 pt army each battle?

Klendathu Invasion Roster: 6000pts worth of MI goodness!

Apart from 'literally endless swarms', what do the bugs get?
  12. W

How do you paint your armies?

Not one at a time, but I wouldn't call it an assembly line either. I paint in small groups of between 2 and 5, usually about 3 at a time for MI -size models. One at a time for larger models. Oh, I did paint my bug soldiers in an assembly line come to think of it.

    STALINGRAD!!!!

General Veers, Those are very interesting points, and you have entirely convinced me. I was mistaken when I said they would be just another WW2 company, because looked at in those terms, you are right, there are no competing games. Still won't play it, but good idea.

    Bugs or MI.

I collect both 'cos I'm the only player around here. But I think the bugs are cooler, and by and large, better models than the MI (excepting that piece of !@#$ called the brain bug). The basic bug soldiers in the boxed game are good models, very easily posable, easy to get good painting...

    STALINGRAD!!!!

The Reinheitsgebot (Bavarian Beer Purity Law) adopted in 1516 is a beer marketers' dream, but was originally introduced to preserve wheat supplies as much as to ensure beer quality and control prices. By mandating that beer could only use water, malt, barley and hops, the Bavarian Crown was...
