If anyone happens to have an Xbox, they've just released Call of Cthulhu for it and apparently it's quite true to the mythos. Might want to check it out. Also, I believe a PC version is forthcoming but not for awhile.

No, I've got it but I haven't perused it in depth yet. Good stuff, from what I've read. But yeah, I'd probably house-rule my way around these then.

Does the book actually say you absolutely have to have the prerequisites to perform the manoeuvre? Why not have a skill check for having no manoeuvre and no skill check for having the manoeuvre? Doubtless that's the way they're meant to be used. Really though it's just an optional rule, as are...

Zamorians are +2 DEX, -2 STR and Turanians don't have any ability mods.

Will the book introduce or support the Bandit by any chance? Not that I expect it to, but it'd be nice.

Ah yes I've got that one, it's one of the Jordan novels I believe. The one where Conan travels to Crom's Mountain and such. I do believe that aside from that demon (which was really just the sorceror wasn't it?) the sword behaved as a normal sword right? So it's actually still in the Conan vein...
