I like Bill's idea, but rather than punish the player for moving their escorts away from a ship they're protecting, why not encourage? Say each escort has the ability to nominate a specific target per turn, and gets a bonus whenever they use their weapons to defend said ship? Should keeps things...

I was excited about the F5W, mainly because I was hoping for more drones, but while two drones at <150 is nice, I'm not sure I want to pay the points for P-1s in the A,P,S arc or better disruptor arcs on the most maneuverable ship in the game.
any idea on when the second book will be coming out with the new ships and new rules? And can anyone give me a general idea of what the difference is between the F5 and F5W (both in terms of stats, and the models look the same to me...), and what the E5 Battle Corvette is likely going to be like...

I checked my inventory of ships that I received as part of my orders from your company, and I noticed that I have two orders that satisfy the bonus offer for a free Heavy Cruiser Command ship but I never received those two ships.

C8 needs something if all other DNs are no longer lumbering...and yeah...now the D5 costs more points than the D7 which is supposed to more expensive to produce...but I suppose it balances out the Klingon fleet.
