The problem is that anyone can use a crossbow no matter how hard the pull on it would be. Heavy crossbows use a crank system to pull back and lock into position to fire.
That is really the difference between a light and heavy crossbow. One is light enough to cock by hand or using a belt mounted...
At one point in the series Sheridan has the Jump Drive taken offline and the extra power fed into the main gun of the Whitestar.
This allows it to do enough damage to kill a Shadow Ship.
If we were to recreate this as a Special Action what would you suggest it do?
First off I would make it...
To me the 'beyond the Rim' has to be a metaphor. As someone else stated there is nothing in the waste dark between galaxies. It is a vacuum that makes space within a galaxy look crowded.
Further it would be pointless to go to another galaxy. Assuming our galaxy is not special the Ancients would...
I could be wrong but it looks to me like simple economics is killing the minis.
From what I have read Mongoose has been producing a rather large number of the minis it sells from molds purchased from AOG. Now these of course have a lifespan.
Seems to me that a rather large number if not all of...
How about giving scouts the ability to jam that basically allows them to give their stealth ability to another ship for the round.
The downside would be that the scout loses the stealth trait on itself for the turn since all its jamming equipment is aimed at another ship instead of itself.
If you want simple and a setting that is appropriate for a kid them definitely go with the Weg D6 system for StarWars.
As fasr as I know WEG put the system out for free fairly recently. Also being Star Wars makes it easy for your kid to know the setting right off the back.
A further bonus is...
That is too bad. He wrote the Dragonlance "Legend of Huma" novel which was one of the best books of that series I wrote. Looks like his skill has gone downhill since then.
Am I the only one that wishes they would save us all $5 and make these books softcover?
I mean to me a 160 page book is really cutting the edge on how short a book can be and still be hardcover. When WOTC puts out 128 page books in hardcover it is even more rediculous.
Here is an interesting question.
The EA got a lucky hit and pretty heavily damaged the Minbari flagship. Her sensors were down and who knows what else was not functioning.
What if the EA commander had decided in for an pound and launches an all out assault and destroys the damaged and off...
Here goes a little bit of a challenge for everyone.
You get to field one battle point of ships in an ambush of a Sharlin War Cruiser.
It is your choice of battlefield. You can hit him in the middle of an asteroid field, come out of hyoperspace around him, even start at edge of open space map...
Which is why I said minor point. I remembered something about it being just some of the Warriors.
AT the same time though it makes you wonder. The rest of the Warrior Caste never wondered where the Windswords were getting all this new technology?
Me thinks a wink, nudge, and blind eye were...
The Minbari have enough of a moral code in their society to think that the worst possible crime is the murdering of one Minbari by another Minbari.
So to them murder of each other is at least wrong. Also they have been in space for thousands of years and worked with the Vorlons and other races...
