The reason they are square is that it is the exact same size as the counters. No need to worry if someone says "Hey, those aren't legal!" Now you can say, "Yep, same size as your counters." George :D

The problem might be that the rules should restrict the amount of a ship type used or you may only select a cetain PL up or below from the current one played. George 8)
