Feint doesn't leave you totally defenseless you can still parry the incoming attack. And with a decent Parry DV and good hard armor (like most soldiers have) the theif is still going to have to have a good roll to finesse through DR of the soldier. I personally don't see the problem with feint...
Has anyone been developing rules for a monk/martial artist class for Conan. With Khitai being based on China it doesn't seem right to me for there not to be one even if it was restricted to very few regions.

The one thing I love about Howard's stories is the realism that he brings to man on man combat.
That being said this is a game and some exceptions have to be for rules purposes.
I don't beleive that a character without a weapon should be able to parry an opponent armed with a bladed weapon...

At first the game started in the Aquilonian city of Shamar and has moved through Argos to Shem and in the second session will start with the group just arriving with a trading caravan to the Stygian capital of Luxur. Then its on to wherever the adventure leads.

Personaly I'm gonna use total reflex save + Dex + feat. Though I don't think it really matters one way or the other. I just know Players like to see high numbers on their character sheets. Which is good for me since it distracts them from the fact that my NPC are a bit meaner than they should be.
