I'd like a map with a properly located Zamboula on it. All else being equal, my instinct is to go with Darlage's work...the guy consistently delivers.

I've said it before and it bears repeating: Zamboula city set (like Shadizar and Messantia) Or hell, even just a hardback like the Aquilonia book (maybe that's even preferable) I mean Zamboula is a trade crossraod, with Shemite, Stygian and Turanian influences. Golden RPG opportunity there:)

That's not a bad solution at all. We often handwave the time between adventures if I (the GM) have nothing planned in there, but getting to the Black Kingdom's by way of being Pirates does seem a pretty "adventure rich" bit of travel to just discard. How into XP are your players? Any chance...
