Odd...I contacted Matt Sprange before Gen Con and he told me they were out of print, but another run would be done soon.

I think it's fair to say(from the issue of Savage Sword being referenced) that Cimmerians don't really seem to be aware that they have Sorcerors amongst them, and that they are not "well-respected wise men" in...
That's not a bad solution at all.
We often handwave the time between adventures if I (the GM) have nothing planned in there, but getting to the Black Kingdom's by way of being Pirates does seem a pretty "adventure rich" bit of travel to just discard.
