I meant to test to see if they can get into University would they have to leave their current Career, of course they would have to leave to attend University. I was trying to work out if one of my players' Traveller attended University in term 1 but could not graduate due to say a war...

A range of -5 to 20 is "Law Level is determined by rolling 2D-7 and adding the Government characteristic." As Government characteristic is from 0 to 15.

page 69 "A Traveller will rarely need to make Vacc Suit checks under ordinary circumstances – merely possessing the skill is enough." So that is -3 to a skill you rarely need to make a roll for.

As a further question along these lines could you enter Pre-Career Education in term 2 or 3 after having already successfully entered Pre-Career Education in a previous term or having graduated in a previous term?

Does a character who has taken one or two terms in careers need to leave there current career to attempt entry in to Pre-Career Education in term 2 or 3? I ask this here as it may be a point that needs clearing up in before the Core rule book goes to print.

I am going over world creation and I can not find anywhere in the Traveller Core Rulebook for 2nd ed any information about what is the range of values for Law Level are. I also can not find any clear information indicating that the Profile listings on page 231 use the World Profiles layout on...

The example on page 94 "For example, a Traveller with no Vacc Suit skill who is in a suit that requires Vacc Suit 2 would have DM-4 to all his checks" I would have thought this example is ether wrong or there is no DM for lacking Vacc Suit 0. In Mongoose Traveller 1st ed there was a DM-2 for...
