Im not so sure about nerfing of the drones, Ships in SF are fast 12", doesn't take long to close. Romulans can cloak right up to the Kzinti & pop out facing any direction without facing the drones. Only get hit once decloaked & it's not like you get hit by huge numbers of drones once you decloak...

What i don't get is fluff holding back models looking better. People buy models cause of stats in rulebooks and good looking minis. Better the looking minis the more you sell

Thing about clustering is don't have them the same size as normal as it does look as bad as tacking them on which it is. Maybe three smaller ones incased in a housing or along those lines. Feds aren't to bad apart from a couple, Klingons ok, Romulan Hawk series could be cooler if they didn't...

Why don't they pair the engines up or have a cylinder or triangle with two or three engine ports instead of tacking engines on spare space. It's the main reason i don't like the models. Just my two cents

It's pretty hideous. The whole add extra engines on doesn't get me going wow. With the technology now there is no reason to have ugly models. I like the Klingons generally, most of the feds. Romulans could be a little better. Kzintis are terrible. I won't buy ugly models unfortunately even...
