    Shield suggestion

    The klink front shield rule was definitely too big of an advantage for them in the vanilla game. I'm not sure they needed to carry it over in the first place. It does of course stack with their ridiculous agility. Some small bonus to the front would have been better, if necessary to carry it...

    Is ACTA SF a good analog for SFB or FC?

    The biggie for me with this game is drones. I kind of like the way starmada did it, but i can also see the rationale for direct fire. Problem is right now they are clunky to use and they cause a LOT of extra work to use, just the record keeping of what fired at drones so what's still available...

    VAS Cold War/Modern Variant

    Hi Cap'n I was wondering if anyone had done this - we play a bit of Harpoon (several computer programmers in the club and so it's been coded up) but still, something based on VAS sounds good - could you send me a copy and I'll try to do some testing in the next month? Cheers, Stu

    Beam Shots

    Just wondering whether beam shots actually justify the +1 to hit? In a board game about Guadalcanal, ships get +1 for firing at a target's bow or stern (in effect a 'rake') but no modifier for shooting at the beam aspect. I don't know enough about this type of combat to know - can anyone...
