No dice.. Tried both Libre- and Open-Office but no go; they wouldn't open nor import the INDD-template (.ai files could be opened however) I'll try M$ Word at work tomorrow.. EDIT: The .ai files can be read with InkScape on Mac OS X, and saved to a compatible format. I saved them as "InkScape...

Thanks all for the tips! It was when I downloaded the templates and tried to open them with Pages that I realized they weren't supported. Didn't even think about {Libre,Open}Office! I'd best get busy! :-)

Aslan are just too much 'Narnia' for me. IMTU I use their stats and call them "Wookies" instead. There're LOTS of images to come by with that name! :-D

Thanks Tom! However, I meant a die roll for the whole distance so that I don't need to do any (or only minimal) calculations. Since the angle is random the distance also becomes random, and we should therefore be able to substitute the calculation for a die-roll table instead. Cheers!

You've done an awesome job, Tom! Working out these charts is a great feat, and I've learned a lot by studying them. However, as a referee I feel at this point - since the positions of the respective planets, as you indicated, are in effect random - that a die roll based on the respective orbits...

Great initiative to support higher quality community contributions! Is it necessary to purchase InDesign in order to publish? Or can Mangoose provide templates for Scribus (for example) which is open source?

Thanks for your posts Tom! Your charts assume the planets location at a certain point in time when movement starts. Do you ever account for planets locations at other times?
