    Thanks for the advice, FD. I'm still not absolutely certain how I'll handle it, but your ideas are certainly reasonable. I'll probably wind up doing that. I'm surprised that this hasn't been handled elsewhere; I would imagine I'm not the only person who's asked this question.

    Oh, I didn't hate Shadizar, not by a long shot. I've gotten good use out of it. But the information it gives about Zamora could be greatly expanded on. And Turan especially deserves a full book.[/i]

    Codes of Honor (or Honour)... a common occurance?

    I imagine most of the codes could be taken based on character concept. Certainly a Nordheimer or Cimmerian soldier (neither race prohibits the class) would nevertheless take the barbaric code of honour. A Zamorian noble might still take the thieves' code if the player's concept makes it viable...

    I agree that Shadizar could have been a lot better. At least Messantia didn't preclude Argos and Zingara. A full book about Zamora would be high on my list, as would one covering Turan. There's a lot of material for Vincent to work with, whatever gets done next.

The character is a Nordheimer female who was taken as a slave by Hyperborians as a young child, initially raised as a pleasure slave, then sent to the gladiator pits...
