    Character advancement???

This could be easily averted by using characters which are in the public domain - including (especially) real people. For example, say Johnny Cochrane is Advocate 3, Aristotle was Advocate 4, and so forth and so on.

What Properties Would You Like To See Mongoose Acquire?

I'd like to see them get Schlock Mercenary, and put the really high TLs (20+) through a workout.

    Regeneration

It's because, for some reason, "everyone gets old and dies" is the Hard Rule of Trav, much like "Fighters exist as meat shields for the wizard" is the Hard Rule of D&D 3x and "Thou Shalt Not Time Travel" is the Hard Rule of Exalted. It's patently absurd, feel free to handwave it.

Questions regarding breached reactors and radiation.

All right... I'm not expecting to strip naked and hold an orgy in the engineering bays of these blasted ships or anything. I'd just like to minimize the dose the boarding party (who will be wearing EV-rated non-powered battle armor) will recieve. Since this stuff is rad shielded, if I can get...

Questions regarding breached reactors and radiation.

They are supposedly just the bog-standard P-Plants, one civilian, one military. I reckoned that they're not designed to auto shut down in an emergency, since, you know, if you're in the kind of emergency where the reactor is being breached, usually it means you're being fired upon, and a sudden...

    Small Ship Traveller

In all honesty, I'd say just use an A-Class Jump Drive for 55D-tons and up, and use a 1/2 A-Class (5 D-tons) for 50D-tons and below. A 1/2 A-Class P-Plant would be, it looks like, 1 D-Tons, since the formula for that is starts at 4 D-tons, add 3 per rating above. As for scaling it all the way...

Questions regarding breached reactors and radiation.

Alright, so I have a question. My character has somehow worked her way into command of a small but powerful mega-TL warship of aliens (long and fun story,) and was running a patrol for their government when we came across a derilect freighter (from the TL 13 normal human civilization) which had...

Need inspiration for a galactic menace

Depending on just how hopeless you want things to be, you could co-opt the Beast organism from Homeworld: Cataclysm. Essentially a growing, learning, intelligent parasite, it 'infects' whole starships, co-opting them - biomechanical in nature if interfaces just as readily with machines as...

Actual play awesomeness...just have to share

This is usually found in games which are hyper unforgiving of not calculating everything out and taking a few hits (Of which Trav is one,) settings where coming back from the dead is impossible (of which Trav is one) and settings without active damage-mitigating systems (of which Trav is one.)...

Favourite (possibly unrealistic) setting to convert?

    Two words: Schlock. Mercenary.

Actual play awesomeness...just have to share

That must have been one hell of a grapple and tether line. That is some of the most awesome, insane shit I have ever heard. I am proud to have read it. That's not Traveller, that's straight out of Exalted, that stuff is. ^_^

    Anagathics

Actually, it is logically simple. In fact it's exactly that simple - hell, the most optimistic projections point to it being possible by around the year 2060. And I mean real projections, not just Shadowrun 3rd/4th Edition.

    Anagathics

Because cells are constantly dividing, regrowing, etcetera. If you have the means to halt aging in it's tracks, by which I mean that your body stops producing imperfect new cells (thus indicating that they produce perfect new cells,) it should be a very, very simple matter to rejuvinate the...

    Do spaceships float on water?

If gravitic drives operated by manipulating local gravity, they'd be hopeless in an environment with minimal local gravity - IE, out in interplanetary space. As I understand it, gravitic drives operate by creating it's own gravity and making that gravity act upon the ship. Of course, this begs...

    Anagathics

I think his question was, if Traveller medicine can be almost as effective as a shot of Cure Critical Wounds, why can't the same medicine rejuvenate aged flesh and sinew to the state it was when it was healthier. A question which you dodged.
