I find in my own home games I draw inspiration and ideas from other RPGs that I port across into my home games. eg NPCs, maps, sometimes simple mechanics, ship designs etc.
Does anyone else do that same and if so which games ?
I'm really lucky. Here where I live in the UK there is a local game store that is also a distributor that has an extensive range of Traveller and other games.

Well at least they had one but its lost in amongst that lot. They do seem to have a real mix of games though including some i would have thought were not as popular as Traveller.

I'm very much in agreement. I feed loads of ideas to he players in the form of news articles, random rumours etc and then see what they bite down on. Occasionally I throw in a "quest giver" type patron but most of the time its free form.
Hiya - i would too. Those were his words and further expanded by the other players around the table. I think with the ongoing dialogue from this post and interaction via messages we are pulling it back from the total radicalisation however we do still have some very questionable acts of violence...
