In fact, I find tedious that the players create their character, define their background and finaly arrive on a remote island. Perhaps, it's simpler, that they are extracted from the one of the worlds of the multiverse and "teleported" on the isle.

In the Drow War Trilogy, the players come from the world of the campaign or from other worlds ?
