But how vague does it have to be? In order to set games out there, we need to have a reasonable idea of what is out there and where. The place has, thanks to the extended length of the continuity, become frighteningly populated. Taking the 'vague' route seems to defeat the object of writing a...
Why should the ongoing nature of the story prevent good source material being produced? There is (or was) plenty of scope for a chronology based sourcebook, where information carried the caveat 'last recorded data'.
Likewise, the war was sixty years ago. Reclamation should be taking place...
Could I suggest printing them on coated paper (if you're using an inkjet) and mounting them on heavy card ( I used 600 micron - available at Rymans - sometimes) and sticking a safety pin to the back. The ones I made are still going strong six months on (yes, we're THAT sad).
I was using a badge from
http://www.curufea.com/Wikka/wikka.php?wakka=CampaignJudgeDredd with the name added in the basrelief font. I custom printed the character sheets (my own design) with the characters' names and printed each with a badge to wear (they all did).

Massively disappointing, and hardly complete. Placing of named locations is still pretty vague, and canonical information is mostly very out of date (up to thirty years and more in some cases). None of the recent Cursed Earth material (from Origins and Tour of Duty is covered, so no Fargoville...
I guess the amount of rights you have depends on your class (for want of a better word). The Jowett juve was of no consequence and therefore free to be abused on a whim.
I've just re read the one with Yu Tse - the mystic form Philadelphia. Is that an innocent, but powerless man being...
Suspicion was enough in the Dink Jowett case (Sci-Fi Special 1986), for a juve to be subjected to stomach content analysis and possibly truth serum (the kid was injected with something). It wasn't even suspicion of anything serious. In the end no crime was commited (the 'victim', a wealthy...
Every citizen has the right to remain silent. However Judges have the right to haul him/her off to the sector house, pump him/her full of truth drug, scrape his/her skin off, analyse his/her stomach contents and have a psi division telepath scour his/her brainwaves for information. I recall that...
No! God No!
Some of us are old enough to remember Invasion and Disaster 1990, and no amount of funky, post 9/11 modernisation can make up for that.
I just bought my copy of the Traveller Dredd RPG. That map in the front is fantastic. Does anyone know where I can get a copy of it that won't come with the join down the middle?
