Paint your LAMI as purple bellies and then use that color scheme in their fluff.
That way you can get double duty out those minis - hunting down illegal midbulk transport ships or arachnid foes :)
::Blocks newspaper so clumsily wielded by an amateur forum ambush artist:: :)
And those reposts had ALL of the stuff that the LAMI are allowed to take as support options, right?
How crazy of me to think I needed to buy the Klendathu Kodex when you're posting all the rules stuff for the LAMI...
Which Army Book You Most Anxious to Getting? And yes, this is the ONE that you are MOST anxious about getting---but I put in a choice for those with publicly traded Mongoose stock options :)
Edit: Grrrrr! I did have an option in there for ALL but I guess my survey-fu was not advanced enough...
Typically 2-3 standard tunnel entry points are used by whoever's on bugs.
Our terrain (which I am also the sole supplier of) consists of a couple or three stackable hills (3-4 inches total height); half dozen stands of model railroad trees in 30mm scale (they look right for the minis, in...
I have to provide all the MI and Bug forces for our games. The MI are available are:
1 LT
1 PLT SGT
4 Squads of 7 each, each squad with a special weapon.
- 1st Sqd: Msl Launcher
- 2nd Sqd: Msl Launcher
- 3rd Sqd: Triple Thud
- 4th Sqd: Sniper
*Slingshot loaded out as the gunship option...
It's interesting to see (I know, small sample size but larger than just our group) that bugs are being seen as 50% or greater in the victory department.
Makes me wonder if we're playing something or several things wrong for one or both armies?
We've been playing SST for several months now and I'm noticing a trend on wins. MI seems to win even when they're played by extremely inexperienced players while the bugs have a hard time doing much of anything even with tunneling and using specialty bugs like brain, tankers and hoppers.
Out...
Yeah, unfortunately I don't think you can alter a poll once it's kicked off. That should have been one of the options.
I'm guessing that those who are in love with everything will simply not vote and make a post about loving everything. Those who do vote, I assume have a beef with at least...
You can't please all of the people all of the time.
Some people buy into a game for the rules. Some like the minis. Others like both. There are also always going to be models, codices and other facets that some folks don't like.
I agree with Xeno that flinching, at least with ranged weapons, seems more like an armor (as in individual armored infantry suit guys/aliens) thing. Sounds like suppression would fit the bill very nicely.
Dunno whether flinching in CC would be useful to retain or not. Locked combats might...
Revamp of an earlier poll, I'm pretty sure. Now that the dust has settled from the early days of the initial releases, I'm wondering what everyone's collecting nowadays.
