How much are we expected to shell out for incorrect hard-cover books?!?

I was going to make the drive but life got in the way. Past GenCon ACTA tournies have garnered a dubious reputation due to broken power fleets, not to mention it's an all day event which is a large chunk of the GenCon weekend. What type of prize support did they have?

Serious indictments on all counts. I haven't seen one personally but if asked to buy a hardback rulebook, good production values should be a given.

Maybe they're closer to the writers due to smaller base size :wink: Even if never personally witnessed, one must admit that the inherent inconsistency could be a problem.

It's OK. Like many new ACTA sculpts, it misses the mark ever so slightly. Hard to articulate it exactly but the racial aesthetic, inspiration & flavor seem to be missing from many of the new minis.

Contacting him is no problem, but when it came to getting permission to have Mongoose produce Nikes, he never responded. Sounds like Urobach had the same problem.

I had the same problem with the Nike. However I think he may be working with Mongoose in some other capacity, supplying artwork or something.
