So who nicked the giant eagles?

That's true. Maybe, as Mongoose, is English, "vulture" has a different meaning and appearance? As a US reader, I think immediately of the bald-headed greasy black bird. However, aren't what the English call "buzzards" like hawks? Here, vulture and buzzard are synonymous. English "wasps" are...

    Naming Conan adventures?

The two I ran (yes, only two) were called "A Cat in the Dark" and "The Valley of Toads". Very Conan-esque names. ;)

Lone Wolf, b/c of its crazy phatness ;)

Which Magnamund army is the best?

I'd think the armies of Bor excel at siege warfare, particularly surviving sieges. Firearms could have been developed as a more lethal alternative to the defenders' friend, bows.

    Clarification on Darklord Khatellu

Darklord Khatellu (or rather, one of his Liganim) may show up in the near future of my campaign. He has the ability "Command Snakes", but the description says merely reptiles. Is this ability usable only on snakes as the name suggests, or can it be extended to things such as Kwaraz and Gourgaz?

I'm planning to send my players to Kalte...

Then there's those two things listed that baknars eat - gallings and something else - that aren't ever described. I dunno why, "galling" strikes me as maybe a ptarmigan or penguin type thing.

    Local Pictish Ruins

Well, not really. But there's a series of islands out in the river south of my hometown a bit; the other day I heard that they're called Conajohela. And it struck me, if that's not a name in the Westermarck...

MOM: Cener Druids & Plague Hounds

Really a fairly minor quibble, but why are the statistics for a Plague Hound in MOM different from those in LWRPG? Are the LWRPG statistics meant to represent Ruel War-Dogs?

    Using OGL Steampunk with LW

Well, don't forget the Darklands are steampunk level too. At least in Book #12; not sure if this was a common thing there or new to the Gnaag regime.

    Monsters

Well, I just spent a few hours making a nifty formatted PDF of the document. I totally forgot that we had sent it to Mongoose when I told Winterhawk I'd make it. Oh well. It would still rock if Simkn could do the post-Book 23 New Order series. Still, I guess if anyone wants the PDF I made...

    Monsters

New Order is where you could come in, then. Eternalknight did two of the books, IIRC (which two was it? I think Voyage of the Moonstone and Buccaneers of Shadaki), if you could do the ones unconverted that would be great.

I have a copy of the compiled .txt file and the ability to make PDFs. I can try to format it up for you.

    Dhax and Bite Attacks

It's unclear to me, is the armor-piercing bite of a Dhax (The Darklands) permanent? Does it permanently lower the AC of armor by 4?

    Stupid Thing I Noticed

Today I just happened to notice that August was a playtester for the 3e version of Forgotten Realms. Either that, or someone else named 'August Hahn'... doesn't amount to a hill of beans, but just wanted to throw that out there.

    my reflections on darklands

Here I was, all hyped-up thinking "hey Lancaster's only about a twenty minute drive from me, cool that there's a Lone Wolf guy right near me!" and then I see it's Lancaster, UK and not Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Blast! ;)
