Very nice job on the Sharoos! Smooth fades between the colors, and just the right amount of tiger stripes. Love it!

Argh, why couldn't you have asked when I had time? I'm travelling for the next week, but I'd be happy to try a game on Vassal sometime. I haven't used it before.

Arch Lector Petrovski: some very nice paint jobs there! I definitely like the look of the jigsaw fighter bases, but I'd be afraid they'd get a little distracting on the table.

I like both of them. But I think the stripes would look better if you gave the whole model a thin wash of medium blue to blend it all together. The Citadel Asurmen Blue wash might work well for this, thinned somewhat. It would make the transitions between colors less harsh.
They look good though.
