I fail SICON target recognition yet again! If it wasn't for the nice different colour schemes, I couldn't tell them apart on the table top.
Hiromoon -- have you considered giving them a slight drybrushing to bring out some of the raised detail?
I've seen the CGI series and I can't tell the difference. I must have failed my SICON target recognition training.
What is the actual difference?
I know that MI can tell the difference just by doing a heat scan, but I see no reason not to use the models interchangably as long as you let...
Looks like a good start to me. 2 squads, an NCO. Can't really beat that.
I've decided I want lots of WASPs, so I'm looking for a way to convert 1 of my 2 starters into WASP troopers. Some sort of simple jump pack or something.
I'm going to airbrush mine. I'm going to stick with earthy natural chitin like effect. While I think the black, yellow and red is pretty cool, it's never quite grabbed me.
Perhaps I'll model mine after the pine beetle. Anyone who's had the misfortunate of being bitten by a pine beetle knows...
I can just imagine 20 of these guys packing together to squeeze through a terrain feature.
And then the plasma bug fires.
They can shoot though. The sheer volume of guns is going to inspire a lot of standing and shooting instead of beating feet.
With their low target and kill numbers though...
