    Google Maps Player Locator

Threw this together with the excellent feature of Google Maps. Feel free to throw in your location (within reason, because privacy) with a short attached comment. It's always nice to see where other Traveller players are...

I'm afraid that with how enthusiastic you guys are, there is going to be a need for Errata sheets per update so that we get an idea of what actually got fixed. If we have to completely reread the book from front to back every time, then we may miss some of the material you guys slaved so hard...

    High Guard is Here!

Still holding out hope that with all these changes, and the future ones, we might get a small annotation somewhere that displays a change version number or date, something to let us know that the copy we are using is the latest one... I've got a couple copies between my wacom tablet, and my...

If it's the simplest solution, You've never BEEN in the Navy, have you? (kidding) That is absolutely the best answer so far.. guidelines.. rolling word around in mouth... I like it.

Couldn't the whole ship be designated a hamster cage? Like a planetoid, spinning the whole thing instead of designating it as a separate ring... I mean, you could make rings that go around the planetoid, but why not just spin the whole thing and be done with it? At least for some planetoid...

HAAA KAHLAL AKLAL HALLL ALALLALLA AAAALLLL! A pox on your ancestors, infidel! This is the whole core of the problem! Heh heh, is there a chance that an answer will be forthcoming? I mean, I can come up with an answer that makes sense to me, I just thought it might be good not to diverge too...

Yeah, said 25,000 Cr instead of 50,000 Cr... for ship hulls... for planetoids the default cost is 4,000 Cr.. so extrapolating, planetoids without grav plates cost either 2,000 Cr or -21,000 Cr (wee you actually get PAID 21,000 Cr for not including them.).... but I am going to have to print these...

Excellent! Thanks for all the great follow up work you guys do, if for no other reason than to ease our minds as we lie in bed at night with sweaty clammy hands, thinking of all the ways the players want to exploit every flaw in our universes..

Would it be safe to assume that ADDING Grav Plates would add 25,000 credits per ton to a planetoid Hull? I'm just trying to understand the interplay of grav plates and planetoids versus real hulls. Before I hit the hay, let me see if I can simplify my question about planetoid/hulls. 1. Base...

So my question boils down to, if a Planetoid does NOT have gravity plates, ie Non-Gravity Hull, the price goes UP from 4,000 Credits per ton to 25,000 Credits per ton? Or does it cost 2,000 Credits per ton? That was my primary confusion. Thanks!

One more stab at Planetoids/Buffered Planetoids... can they be mixed with the Non-Gravity Hulls? Their price already is pretty low, or are they considered to always be Non-gravity unless you add it? If so, what are the price modifiers for adding it? Just want to cover all my bases. Thanks!

    High Guard is Here!

It always surprises me in this day and age that when something intensive like High Guard is put out, that the spreadsheet to go with it isn't also made available for download. Granted it may not be the most understandable thing to many sophonts, but it would be something that would let those of...

    High Guard is Here!

That does seem to be the easiest/logical choice... assuming that the improved structure goes with each section and is not a property of everything being solidly connected together. I was just wondering in the back of my mind if it was a kind of 'the sum is greater than the individual parts."

Regarding the Massive Ships rule, as ships breakaway into different combinations of pieces, (say 150,000 ton ship that can break into 3 x 50,000 ton hulls) do HP per ton get recalculated for each combination? Or do the individual ships have proportionate shares of the combined HP by the total...
