Obviously people here wish to have a decent hardback and the fact that many of them (inclused me) hope in the paperback for a better quality is a measure of how much the hardback are far from be a decent quality book. My italian paperback of the LW from 1-27 are still in good condition even...

This is good to know. If the final quality will be good, flawless and with a design made with the reader in mind I can wait much longer. I was disappointed by the quality of the hardback, but if paperback is good I'll gladly buy them all.

Will the paperback have the standard page margins or the random ones like the hardback? No random line at top of the pages? Is the map coloured? More info please.

It would be good. Please post the photo. Thanks. I have a replacement first book, the one with the map with white text and that fit the page. The issue with binding is still there but what I fear the most are the first and last pages that seem to be ripped apart every time I open the book...

This hardbound edition is almost a joke, they are less durable than a paperback. I'm near to resend back the first book for the second time. About correction what I fear are new errors.

I rewrite my post, seems that the forums ate it. It seems that you know a different story. Even without knowing that even before Mongoose announcement about the new release of Lone Wolf, all over the internet the voices of this new edition was spread talking about the rewrite of the whole book...

Got my replacement copy today... it needed really a lot of time. Package: I complained about the "worst in the world package for a book" style of Mongoose that keep on sending them in a light and soft poorly padded envelope with no protection for the corner and the hardcover. They probably have...

Well my book almost lost 2 pages (at the begin) but if I had to wait until the book is ripped apart I won't be protected. Also if is clear that I won't be able to read the book more than once I think that the copy is defective because a book (a good one) should be readable many and many times...

I suggest to resend the book back until you get a flawless copy. If it's a defective one then you'll get a good one, otherwise if it's a design issue they have to change it to avoid all the customers to send their book back.

Happenend to mine too, but the first 2 ones (well they were still partially attached to the book but they wouldn't have last too much). My suggestion is to send the book back to get a proper copy, until you got a flawless one. It's your right.
