    Adventure chaining in the Reach

Yea, I was looking for low population and lots of belts, but anything low pop is good if you don't mind adding belt to the existing system.

    Adventure chaining in the Reach

There don't seem to be any good asteroid belt only or asteroid belt primary worlds in the Reach. You could make one, or just look for a system with lots of belts and low pop like 1219 Torrance.

    Adventure chaining in the Reach

I thought I would post an update on the campaign. I've previously posted my sons' character ideas, we have a noble son of a subsector Duke who wants to be a privateer to combat what he sees as corruption in the Imperial system, and a slugcat artificer from Rainworld who escaped captivity in a...

Number of staff in Commercial Zones on Space Stations

Earnings for a commercial space will depend on market, who you're trying to sell to, throughput, how often you can expect to encounter someone interested in what you're selling, and the available income that clientele has. A small diner catering to station personnel may be open only around...

The Core Expeditions - on PDF and Pre-Order!

The Empress Wave and its aftermath features promenantly in the sector I'm working on. According to the wiki, the Wave entered Rzakki Sector in 1033 and exits about 1075. I'm building the information and ships in 1105, so only 4 decades from the wave's passing. Well within living memory. Now I...

    Common Areas on Space Stations

Sounds like a right comfortable station!

    Common Areas on Space Stations

2 dTons per adult is fine, at least in my general experience, but it does require access to more open common area that is accessible for at least a short time every day.

    Common Areas on Space Stations

Fixed, I meant 8 dTons, equal to 2 statetooms. So 1 adult and 2 large teens fit well in 2 staterooms and 4 adults wouldn't be hard so long as the design supported it. My place is similar to the 2nd design you have there, though not quite as well laid out.

Number of staff in Commercial Zones on Space Stations

If you want some really good descriptions and designs for stations I would highly recommend the Age of the Solar Clippers stories by Nathan Lowell, as they are all about trade and interacting with different stations. I don't recall if he ever discusses hard numbers, but you should at least get...

    Common Areas on Space Stations

Ack! 8 dTons, not 2 I very clearly had 8 dTons and 2 staterooms conflated in my head and mixed them when typing. Just to throw some real numbers out there, I live in a 470 sq ft 1 bedroom and using an online calculator I found that equates to roughly 8 dTons. It's not particularly well layed...

    The Core Expeditions Errata

Any Jump-2 or greater capable ship that carries a droptank equal in size to the ship's tonnage can make 5 jumps of 1 parsec each before it uses its internal fuel. This makes crossing most rifts trivial, but time consuming. This also works with jump 1 ships, but you must build the engine to...

    Rapid Deployment Sensor Arrays

I think you got it. Basically, since thrusting and evasion are full round actions, if you expend thrust in the turn, you cannot use the array. As soon as you stop spending thrust or using evasion, you can use the array again. But you cannot thrust and use the array in the same round, otherwise...

    Skills in RPGs

Electronics (Computer) is entirely too broad a category. I've been doing computer support for nearly 40 years, I've got a great Electronics (Computer) skill, except I can't program to save my life, and my general use skills are good, but no where near my troubleshooting ability. Also, even with...
