    Yes it looks like silver pieces will be the default currency for the core rules. It's better than $'s. I do wish they'd abbreviated it as 'sp', rather than 'SP'.

    Yeah - I'd have loved to hear the feedback from those players on the new rule system! It's clear to me from the previews that MRQ includes a lot more rule changes from RQ2/3 than I was expecting.

    Does a Longspear require two hands, or is it a one-handed thrusting spear? Quarterstaff obviously requires two hands. so maybe those requirements are specified in the weapon descriptions (... rather than the weapons table). It looks like you can 'switch modes' with a Halberd: three different...

    Agreed! I think their commercial success will largely depend on how close they get. An update to RQ I will buy and support. A new system named 'RQ', I will not.
