    Force Organization

Sure. I do understand what you're saying (and agree). It just makes for an easy starting point. Personally, I wish my opponents would ignore those restrictions completely and bring only tanks!

    Force Organization

Oh, no need to be patient. We are playing with the force composition chart, and it is working nicely. It was just a suggestion for those who feel that parts of the game are unbalanced right now. It is a simple answer to a simple problem! :D

    Force Organization

Some time ago, there was a thread (I can't find it now) that layed out force organization parameters. They were: •2 Squads for minimum legal platoon. •1 Command option per platoon •1 Armour option per 2 squads •1 Transport option per squad •1 Support option per squad (ie snipers) •1...

    Determining Breaking Point

Come on Tony. You don't need tanks to win. We saw that last night. The brave soldiers of the Peoples Republic will find a way to be victorious over the oppressive European regime every time.

T72 XL playtest rules (non official)

All good points. Not as survivable as I first thought. Making the reactive armor a 25 pt. option is a great idea.

T72 XL playtest rules (non official)

With the ability to re-roll a failed armor save, it's more survivable than a 99, and at 2/3's the points. Very underpriced. Just my 2 cents.

    BF:E cmopared to WH40k

I don't think BFE will ever replace 40K for most of the 40K players. They may play BFE in addition to 40K, but they won't drop it. 40K attracts a different crowd. They tend toward two different groups. 1. The power gamer. The min-maxer. These folks are the reason I quit playing 40K some time...

    Charges.

Great. Thanks for the answer about the reaction in cover. It wasn't the case in our game, so I didn't screw Costampede (just his unit). Lorcan Nagle Do I need to e-mail you the picture file for resizing? Thank you for the help. Although I hate to diminish the manificent beast. Kinda like...

    Charges.

Yeah, I gotta figure out how to do that. It isn't that large on other forums. Kind of impressive though. Isn't it? A noble beast. Where does it mention in the rules that a unit in cover reacts first? The cover section, or the charge section. I don't remember seeing it.

    Charges.

WE played a game last night where a unit of PLA infantry charged a unit of British infantry. They were in range, but not visible t the beginning of the charge move. We allowed the charge because there is nothing in the rules that says you must be able to see an opponent to charge them. I know...
