    Clearly, there isn't an easy answer to this, but thanks to everyone that weighed in. Overall, I think I like Sutek's proposed solution best -- just multiply the damage dice, with all other bonuses only counting once. Given the 20-point insta-death rule, I don't see that as really de-clawing...
