    Bestiary

Skryer (Sea Scorpion) Skryer are arthropods, with 12 moveable segments from head to tail and 6, 3-jointed walking legs allow for movement on land while the last pair commonly transform into swimming legs when in water. The Skryer can range from .5 meter to as large as 2 meters in size...

    Bestiary

I love this community! :) Its awesome to see this kind of feedback and just the idea that as a community we could put something like this out is inspiring! Now I just have to start feeding my imagination and get some stuff ready to post

    Bestiary

Exactly! I have only the bare essential books necessary for me to do what is needed for exactly that reason. Animal Encounters could be an Excel Spreadsheet for the amount of content present. I'm not trying to bash Mongoose at all, I hope that isn't how it comes across. I just feel there...

    Bestiary

One of the things I've always wished for to add to my Traveller library is a Bestiary book like D&D's Monster Manuals. I know we have Animal Encounters but in reality I could get about as much joy out of a spreadsheet. I know worlds are to be unique and wildlife can't be blanketed across the...

    Traveller Player Locator

Klinktastic and I are within 30 - 40 minutes of each other. This is good timing since I'm trying to form a group to start playing this fall. I've been looking at online options (although haven't found any) because I haven't played in a long time, everyone is playing Pathfinder or D&D :(

Hey, stop reading my campaign! :)

Finding the right sector for a campaign

This thread demonstrates why I was struggling to figure out where to "place" this unexplored world and why I was worried about a player questioning the location. Given that the party are supposed to be running cargo I couldn't find a place that was far enough out to be plausibly unexplored yet...

Finding the right sector for a campaign

And that would play into premise of the campaign. However, I also like the suggestion of Reaver's Deep because the reason they've crashed on the planet is as a result of damages suffered from pirates. There are a couple sparse sectors upward from the Riftrim and Gulf sub-sectors of Reaver's...

Finding the right sector for a campaign

The UWP for my world is X75843C-6 Ga Ni The race I've created are amphibious but live mostly in water, so of course the Hydrosphere is key. No space port to maroon the party and support the fact it shouldn't be an explored world. World size and atmosphere are somewhat flexible.

Finding the right sector for a campaign

This is actually part of my problem... I can't find a UWP that corresponds to what I've created. It would be nice to be able to actually locate a suitable planet so I can include the real sector map in my world data book. Is there any kind of "world locator" app? I've been browsing through...

Finding the right sector for a campaign

Actually thats exactly where I was placing it when I started out writing the campaign but started second guessing myself. So now looking at the Great Rift map I'm thinking the Oheaaye'eal subsector of Touchstone may work perfectly. It fits with the story of the group avoiding the common...

Finding the right sector for a campaign

I've been working on my first campaign but as I've begun writing the "story" I'm realizing the gaps. My campaign involves a party of smugglers (think FireFly) crash landing on a remote unexplored planet. On this planet I have created some unique alien life as well as a history that involves...
