Here's a neat trick for all the bellyaching about smudging :-) On a laminated card, use a Sharpie permanent marker (fine point or otherwise, and any non-metallic colour). Yes,you read that right. Those won't smudge at all :D After the game, too erase just rub a dry erase whiteboard marker...
