    New Additions

Name me one converstion that doesn't fly off at a tangent at some point during the proceedings. Especially amongst gamers, who are, lets face it, the champions of pfaff.

    New Additions

Now, as to the matter of how many Vanguards can sail on the head of a pin ... As many as want to.... The only casualty of irrevent banter is pride and that's only if you don't see it coming.

    New Additions

I only wanted to know if there were any stats for the Vanguard. Still it was worth the post cos I haven't laughed so much in ages.

    Hypothetical Ships in a Supplement?

My vote is for a bit of everything. My main interest is in campaign games, so for me, historical accuracy is not paramount. If you have a bit of everything you can choose to 'use or lose' if you don't have it you cannot use it. I think a bit of everything would give any supplement the...

    New Additions

Having purchased some new additions to my RN fleet at the weekend, has anyone seen stats anywhere for the Vanguard, I was sure it was in the book but having checked again I find not. Were they in a back issue of S&P or have I just imagined the whole sorry affair?

    observation planes

With regard to spotter planes it very much depends upon the scale as to whether or not you need to worry too much. Effective Range of Torpedoes

And not running on compressed air meant little or no bubble trail making them harder to spot and subsequently avoid.

    Going Evasive, strickly fair?

I think that is the point he's making. Albeit a little clumsily. Depends on the effective density of the smoke to start with. Thick smoke is thick smoke at 200,000 parts per million or at 100,000 parts per million. You still can't see through it.

    Effective Range of Torpedoes

Leave my tackle out this.

    Terrain Features

When's this due out again? I'm looking forward to playing with 'Winnie' and 'Pooh'.

    Effective Range of Torpedoes

Hook, line, sinker, rod and copy of Angling Times. But seriously, what is your opinion on Cruisers currently? Anything to stop Keith quoting numbers at me and making my head hurt.

    Going Evasive, strickly fair?

Possibly, but I don't think the suspense would kill me and I would weigh that against my enemy not knowing if I have the benefit. Although surely the player commits to the action and then rolls the dice in the movement phase and so have had to as you put it, put themselves in harms way? A...
