I would have thought they would be spending all there time on the new fleets and play testing them rather then changing rules and fleets that there not going to support in the future.
i tried this new white star vs a EA fleet in a 3 pts raid he had 1 carrier with 8 thunderbolts and 2 hyperions i had 3 white star 1s
game went like this as best as I can remember
turn 1 white stars blasted to the side of an asteroid field hopeing to come around in behind the hyperions the...
thats your opinion and thats fine. It could allways be nice to help the op out with his rule and come up with some solutions to possible abuse thru squadrons.
So i take it you have play tested this then? I guess it probably work if you played yourself. But maybe not if you played someone you can use a bit of tactics and think about what there doing.
As for whole going last then first thing with the fix it gives your opponant the chance to move and...
yeah your right AA would be over the top anyway.
yeah as for narn support and ISA lacking in the ship numbers it should be easy for them to get hold of a few narn ships to add ISA feel to them and a new paint job
for a q'quan just drop the EM swap out the heavy laser for a Improved neutron...
Yeah next game i wanna give em a go time for a change i think gets a bit boring playing ISA every game
I was thinking of how psi corps combine shadow tech with earth tech and put out some decent ships and ISA could do somthing similiar. maybe not with the show but at least it would be good for...

what about moving more then 1 ship per FAP then every ship can move as long as it was restricted ie: only allowing smaller ships that are not squadroned to move with 1 FAP. Just an idea
As for the whole move and fire rule. shot twice with one ship is a easy fix by altering the rule to prevent...
just my opinion but why not Up the white star firepower on the short range cannons give an extra ad on the beam or a 3 or 4 more AD on the pulsar. So still powerful ship but different and sloves the whole snipeing issue, And the ISA player does not feel so hard done by.
Then its not an nerf...
thats casue the old gunship has not been in for the new upgrade. After all the new and improved efficient neutron laser is the way of the future.
if its so much more efficient why not give it an extra AD
So does this mean ships that are strong vs white stars like shadow scouts and liati are gonna get the same treatment. After all if its all about balance and all :wink:
Move and fire makes the game a more of a gun fight, Where bigger guns will be the main player boresight or not.
I said at the start that fleets like the ISA will be taken down a peg or two. This rule would change whats broken and whats not.
