So I brought this issue up back when it appeared in the First Edition of Aslan. You know, I never thought to check if it happened to get fixed in the Drinax box set.

Thank you, Michael and Annatar. That is in line with what I thought, but it is good to get confirmation. Michael, I really like the book. Chargen is somuch easier. Oh, the new characteristics are all very interesting.

Finally broke down and bought the Traveller Companion. Glad that I did. I really like the alternate Chargen methods. One question, though. For the section on Page 21, under the Careers heading of Finalising the Traveller, there are three options. The first two options I get. They offer good...

I'm happy that I got this book. One thing that I do wonder about is that the section with the rumours of Sindal seems to be spread out. Like not all of the rumours are in one spot. I don't have the PDF in front of me now, but like three rumours are in one section, then part of another chapter...

By that I mean this one, on the 2E core rulebook, High Guard, Drinax and several of the smaller supplements. Curious to see how long I've got on it?

To make it more "Traveller", it would be cool if there was a way to do a brief lifepath for one or two hero units per side. Like they each come with a sheet where you throw down four dice and checkoff results to get random bonuses or starting equipment. Oh, and minis including more than foot...

So what exactly is new in this edition? Also, congratulations! This is one of the best campaigns of all time!

Both, actually. I really, really like the 2d6 probability distribution. And this way it gives you huge odds for a 1, with less as they go higher. I did that intentionally so you'll get more plains and fewer mountains. For settlement creation, do you roll a d6 for a settlement in each hex...

Yes, it creates cities much the same way that you generate planets. There are new trade codes so you can run a caravan between cities. It also helps to define the local terrain
