In my 30 years of playing and running more RPG systems than I care to remember. In all my open mindedness and enthusiasm for new games. In all my years of possibly misplaced determination to learn and run even "bad" games due to interest is concepts. In all my sentiment towards long lived...
With the announcement of a revision of the direction of Fading Suns from Red Brick and the clearly states intention to release a "revised" NA game as well as other miniature products associated with FA, is this going to have an effect on the future of ACTA: Noble Armada?
Frankly I have stopped...
Some people are very tired of shelling out money on stuff that is poorly compiled or packaged and then having to embark on a weeks long campaign for satisfaction. But then I vote with my wallet in the end.
Well I HAVE emailed. I really have gotten tired of asking repeatedly for corrections. It would be really great if this stuff was just QCed to begin with.
Looks like I am going to have to beg over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again for the replacement for the worthless pos original printing of this book that I shelled out $40 bucks to Mongoose...
Noble Armada. Great game. I own every house model for all 5 fleets. Rulebook is pretty solid. Game play is REALLY fun especially boarding actions that give the game a close assault element. Not to mention the models are plentiful. Noble Armada is definitely a home run game from Mongoose as...
No thanks. I already have to much Noble Armada and other minis games to waste my time on counters. Most of the people I game with play minis games cause we love minis. We will play games we can actually get from our flgs.

I was all set to promote this game and get people to play it now I probably never will.
What month exactly? As far as that goes what year? Will these be racing to meet the "fleets well before the end of the month deadline?" Oh wait.........
Will they be shipping with the Noble Armada reference cards?
Blah
Well this makes me glad I got a refund on my pre-order when I did as there is no point in promoting a game that people cant get minis for. I would like to see the book fixed as the sheer amount of errors in the ship stats will turn some people away. I know that's probably not going to happen...
Per Matt Sprange:
"Fourth, everyone who has a hardcopy of Secrets will get a replacement, completely free, as soon as it is reprinted (likely towards the end of January)."
It is now going into the second week of February. Any news?
There are over 30 corrections to stat lines for the ships, some pretty major. I don't consider that a "hiccup" I consider that a big lack of proofreading and quality control. If you are picking this game up off the shelf and are all new to it then you are getting a flawed product. I have all...
