Looking for good sample of space Combat

Anyone made a flow chart? Flow charts are sweet.

Fuel/Cargo Containers from Deep Space Exploration book

Part of the point of drop tanks is to cover large jumps without the need to refuel. E.g. Reft Sector j6 jump on a J3 ship with drop tanks. No fuel station on the route. No problem. 1st jump on the droppies, 2nd on the internals.

High Guard 2e Ship Design Spreadsheet v1.1 (Google Docs)

I have never had the need to work in Google sheets before. I only just found out after another quick perusal there is an inbuilt version tracking. Taking over another persons build, without adequate documentation, can be fraught with its own problems. I have only just come back from hiatus from...

MgT HG 2e Special Fuel Tanks (Collapsible, Demountable, Drop Tanks)

I wrote a treatise on Cargo hold fuel tanks some time back (late 2013). I may or may not have been drinking, but in it I did make some rules for collapsible fuel tanks. If I rewrote it, I'd probably dot point it, or arrange it a little differently to make it clearer/less wordy. I sent it into to...

High Guard 2e Ship Design Spreadsheet v1.1 (Google Docs)

Hi PDT I've had a quick glance at the sheet. Nice job, especially considering this is your first foray into spread sheets. I have considerable experience in Excel. I'm hoping I can help you with the conversion download to excel problem when I have a little time. Or any other formula problems...

Excellent questions. I am in the exact same position.

    Anti-gravity <> anti-mass

We discussed this before. I decided Grav Vehicles (as opposed to ships) puttered out in geosynchronous orbit. It's easier that way. Spaceships, well that's a different story...

    Sandcastors with no sand?

On that note, what military ship in the real world has such small holds? I get that food etc is subsumed into the general dTons of staterooms etc, but you still need holds on ships for other cargo, even if your ship is purely military, and tended by backup lines of supply. You may still need to...

    Cheap ships, expensive to run.

And/Or put your semi-trailers on the Fury Road equivalent of deep space.

    Cheap ships, expensive to run.

Think of it like this: The big freighters are like our ships at sea. The little guys are like our semi-trailers (I don't know what you call them in your country, lorries in britain, or big rigs in US?) Some are new and special and being bought by mid sized companies and leased, or flown by...

    The Lone Starport

This. If it's not this, there's a good chance there's a mum and pop store trying to eek out an existence on some of the routes. Think about it. If the economy isn't exactly right, then arm-wave it. For prices add a bit for remoteness, just like we get in the outback. I wouldn't put one in every...

    Sandcastors with no sand?

In trillion credit squadron there are many ships with sandcasters but no Tons allocated to sand barrels. Sure some of them have cargo holds capable of holding enough sand, but others do not. e.g. Aeolus pg 63 Arges pg 86 Gygess pg 81 I'm sure there are more, but you get the gist. A standard...

Just give me a comprehensive flowchart, and I'll work from there. :)
