i think you'd need some kind of feat to cover this tactic, maybe a Pike Formation feat or a Pike Defense feat,
I'd say without the feat the pikeman would be able to attack the target but the target would gain a -/+4 cover save as their is a body in the way. likewise though an attacker could...
i don't think either would work, i'd prefer a MUCH simpler game system...i am however exceptionally biased as i thought the original GDW version was the definitive Star Wars RPG

you don't apply your strength to a weapon you've used to finesse with, i think this takes into account that you havent used force, but finesse (natch) to make your attack, you don't have to apply as must ommph to the blow as you've got past the armour anyway
How about someone posting up a collection of weapons of african flavour for everyone to use. Or comment on and perfect, then make the weapons "official".

I think it does, most PCs gain a couple an adventure, unless youre GM forgets or is a stingy so and so. Most players in our games go up a level every 3-5 adventures, so they arent keeping that many.
