Has anyone made a spreadsheet for the World Builder's Handbook?

I made a spreadsheet to test it (the processes - found several bugs that way). It can do a whole sector, but it's very limited: no more than six moons per world (a big deal for gas giants) and it is barely comprehensible to the person who wrote it. Plus, it's about 30MB empty and 100+ full, and...

    World Builders help

The intent is to use the size for the class as rolled. If you instead 'age' it into a IV or III, then the temperature tends to go down, so it would have a different spectral class then it had as a V. So the jiggery way is not as intended. If anything the mass should be a little lower as the...

So are we 'officially' at TL 8.25 or what?

Lasers are actually deployed in limit numbers. They'll get a lot more research pumped at them for anti-drone and anti-overly-hyped-hypersonic weapons. Rail/Coil guns need better underlying tech (crystaliron and superconductors?) before we try again.

Completely unrelated to anything but random neuron firings

This doesn’t belong here, but its been a tough couple of months and I’ve not gotten the writing that I’m supposed to do done, so when words come to me in the middle of the night, I have to write them down. People in here about my age might or might not relate. There’s been a lot of drama and...

    Google Sheets Worksheets

It was just done to prevent overlap with vehicles. You could put the brain in a vehicle and then the size becomes unlimited using vehicle rules. (Yes, a metric-based uniform construction system, scaling from nanobots to robot planets, should be a thing, in my opinion as well...)

    Primordial System Age Question (WBH)

That's not a bad idea for O main sequence stars. It seem like stars above 8 solar masses don't really go through a Herbig phase, so the planetary system rules probably apply (a.k.a. lots of protoplanetary junk not enough time for planets to form by accretion and star ignition likely burns away...

    High Guard hull points calculation

I turned in the document on Dec 9 2020, so everything after that is the process of publishing.

    High Guard hull points calculation

Thanks. I can put a redo of the ships on my to-do list, though I suspect I'll wait until the next minor High Guard update.

    Ship Design Philosophy

Mostly gibberish, though there is data mixed in. (on Chrome 138.0.7204.101 anyway)

    High Guard hull points calculation

The Spinward Extents book was written in 2020, long (well, long-ish) before the HG 2022 update came out. So all of the designs in there probably need a redo.

Travellers Needed! Central Supply Catalogue Updates

Those range (and sometimes damage) inconsistences were things I ran into with the Vehicle Handbook, so for the bigger weapons, Bella, please check against that new document, not the CSC (which I also did, but at the time I carried them forward from the old one mostly verbatim). Or anyway, if...

    Personal Meson Communicators

Also, make sure you place them on a level surface so the mesons don't fall out.

    [Mongoose's Office Game] Character Diaries

One thing Traveller taught me is that if you're getting shot at, you've already screwed up (sorry, too soon?) Fortunately I started with Melee, not D&D, so I already expected combat to be dangerous (e.g., not wading through the Kobold horde).

    Ship Design Philosophy

I can't believe I watched the whole thing. It's like someone spiked my coffee with substances only legal in controlled medical trials... What's with the damsel eating yarn monster? Now I have to go look at more of these... AI inspiration for interesting planetary environments and creatures...
